Laquo; June 2006. August 2006 ». July 26, 2006. This will probably be my last post for at least a week or two, since we’ll be losing our internet connection as of tomorrow and heading out on the road on Saturday. I’m not sure when the internet will be hooked up and functioning, but I’ll post again soon after. I’ll have a lot to post about in August, including:. Our trip to Aven. 8217;s parents’ place in Nova Scotia last weekend. My first foray into woodcarving. My teaching this fall. July 21, 2006. For a...

Laquo; Test Pattern. Scip-gefere: Paddle your own canoe (part I) ». July 02, 2007. So, gone is the day-to-day stuff (for the most part), the food blogging (except for perhaps exceptional circumstances — not that I have that much time for fancy cooking these days), and all the photos. Having said that, I’m going to briefly break my own rule and give a brief rundown on my life at present. Over the past year I taught at the University of Toronto at Mississauga. In the Department of English and Drama. So sta...

Laquo; May 2006. July 2006 ». June 20, 2006. A quick look at my reading list. In the side bar and my reading post archive. Will indicate how far behind I am in blogging about my reading, so I’ll try to catch up a bit. First of all, there are some new books on my bed-side reading pile. For my birthday, my wife. Gave me the three follow-up books to Thomas Cahill. 8217;s How the Irish Saved Civilization. About which I have yet to write): The Gifts of the Jews. Desire of the Everlasting Hills. Is a collectio...

Queen of the grannies: October 2005
http://dreascrochet.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Queen of the grannies. My crafting blog, with occasional music and sports ramblings. Monday, October 10, 2005. Today I signed up at this site, 25 things for charity. Which I think is a great idea. At the beginning of each month - or close to it - I'll post about (and hopefully pics of) things I've finished. Anyone who reads this blog can poke me once in a while and say, "hey, have you finished anything yet? As some of you know how I am about finishing things ;) Or updating my blog, for that matter ;).

The knitting blog by geeks, for geeks. Thursday, January 27, 2005. Deep Thoughts from a Short Brain. It has been so long since I posted that I almost forgot my blogger password. Actually, I'm surprised I even remembered it. Speaking of remembering, do you remember that manos hat I was going on about all that time ago? Perhaps I'll post a picture of me in it some day! Maybe the 'laws of physics don't apply in my washing machine' (I love My Cousin Vinnie) I don't know. Posted by Denise @ 9:31 PM. Thanks gu...

My Middle Name Is Patience: January 2006
http://mymiddlenameispatience.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
My Middle Name Is Patience. Tuesday, January 31, 2006. I Was Forced To Buy Yarn. Byunseen forces that don't give a fig that I will be knitting all this yarn in a cardboard box under a bridge in my old age. Which is not that far away. Now. Which one of these two should be the Adamas shawl? The top two of the Zephyr JaggerSpun silk/wool blend. They don't name yarns the way they do lipsticks, do they? I would love that job but undoubtedly there's more to it. I picked this all up at. Oh, and watch Bleak House.
