Monday, April 26, 2010. It's the Supply Chain, Stupid. I've always found the mantra, "It's the economy, stupid," to be a bit coarse. It was coined by James Carville, back when he was campaign strategist to Bill Clinton's 1992 presidential run against George H.W. Bush. The problem I had with it was that I was never sure who was being called stupid. The word 'stupid' is a biting word. 'Silly' is better, and to my point that it really is all about the supply chain. Monday, April 26, 2010. It's the Supply Chain, Stupid. I've always found the mantra, "It's the economy, stupid," to be a bit coarse.
