Sunday, 11 March 2007. James Nash, world famous poet and writer, came in on Friday 9th March for an assembly with Key Stage 2. He presented some Year 5 and 6 children with a published anthology of the poetry from some previous sessions. James had shown the children some really wacky wierd and wonderful objects, which were then turned into some of the most fabulous poems. Have a look at the anthology outside Year 6! Y4 Castleton Primary: April 2007
http://y4castletonprimary.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Monday, 30 April 2007. Send a cow map. Can you name a country on our Send a Cow map in your computer time this week? Search on the Internet for a country you have heard of e.g. Where is England? Try to go to a website with a picture of it. Ask a teacher to add it to the display board map if you can't reach. Once you have added one country, blog to say which one you have found. You could try to add facts about the country on the blog site too. Can you describe their flag? Say how many people live there?
