I always gave my mom such a hard time because I was the baby (of 3) and there were no pictures of me. but now I totally understand! Sometimes I try to make a special point of taking pictures of Lauren, just to try and compensate :). And I will definitely be praying. February 1, 2011 at 10:00 AM. A couple of weekends ago it was in the mid-to-upper 60's on a Saturday, so the four of us headed to the zoo for a couple of hours. It was so beautiful and we got to see some animals up close that we don't normally see. Sophie and Daddy riding a hippo. I love this picture of his arm around her. So sweet. Micah is 6 weeks old today and it's hard to decide if it seems like a lot longer or shorter than that. In some ways it's hard to believe he's that old, but at times it seems like forever ago that we were sitting in the hospital watching Dan in Real Life and waiting for our little guy to come out. Thanks to my mom Sophie has become very familiar with the music from "Les Miserables." Today I heard her singing during her nap and ran up to catch some of it outside her door. Here is her rendition of "Do You Hear the People Sing? I was hoping for more at the end, but we'll take what we can get. I ran up there again and she was singing (over and over), "Who am I? Jean Valjean.Who am I?

Tuesday, August 24, 2010. Here are some more pictures of us enjoying the Mall of America. This first one is McAllister. At the Disney store. We ate at Bubba. I had to go into the American Girl store and pretend I was 8 again. Ah, I love that place. We also ate at the Rainforest. Was a little nervous when the thunderstorm came every 30 minutes.
