http://livestong.blogspot.com/2014/12/2014-wrap-up.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2014. 2014 is almost over? Where did the time go? So lets wrap up the year with one really long blog post. :). In February I ran my first ever 15k. I was scared, nervous, and completely apprehensive. But I finished! Ethan after riding Space Mountain! I ran the names of 63 cancer fighters, survivors. Fallen warriors through the streets of Chicago. This year has been such a blessed year for our family and I hope that this year found your family well too. View my complete profile.

Living Strong: December 2012
http://livestong.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 18, 2012. In an instant I was brought to the day that I had convinced myself that I would never be in another relationship; that the idea of being a single-mom for the rest of my life was not only God's plan, but a plan that I could live with. How was I ever going to love when my life was filled with so much fear and loss? How was I going to share my life with someone when my heart had built a wall to protect not only myself, but the love I shared with someone else? While all these imag...

Living Strong: The Way I Tend To Be
http://livestong.blogspot.com/2014/03/the-way-i-tend-to-be.html
Sunday, March 16, 2014. The Way I Tend To Be. For all intended purposes, I am a realist with optimistic tendencies that tends to look at all sides of a situation before I will choose my happy-coated pragmatic version of reality. Follow that? Some people would basicly say that I "over think" things and just plain hope for the best, but mentally make back-up plans for when it all hits the fan (i.e. the worst)? I tend to be hard on myself (but who isn't? I make goals (and who doesn't? Skip ahead to a month ...

Living Strong: January 2014
http://livestong.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 9, 2014. During our wedding the MusicMan and I wrote our vows to each other and to Ethan. My heart soared listening to him promise to Ethan that he would never replace the spot in his heart where his Dad sits, but to pick up where he left off and nurture him into the wonderful man we all know Ethan will grow to be. Let me say - there wasn't a dry eye in the house. I learned that it was ok to make plans and love life to the fullest. Pax to you all and to your New Year! Links to this post.

Living Strong: September 2014
http://livestong.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 28, 2014. As I sit here trying to figure what and how to write what I want to express, I realize it's been awhile since I last wrote. Maybe too long. However, as the age-old proverb goes - time flies. Especially when you are training for your first marathon during your first year of marriage. Crazy. Crazy, is good word. Someone recently asked me if I had a spirit animal what would it be? My MusicMan's soft, yet gentle "oh baby." with a certain level of fear in his eyes told me I loo...

Living Strong: March 2013
http://livestong.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 1, 2013. It's been awhile since I last wrote and what can I say? Planning a wedding when you are younger and don't have a child (or a job) makes for a much smoother planning process. :) However, with that said, it warms my heart to share all the little details with my Muppet and hear him exclaim with such joy in his heart that he "can't wait" for the MusicMan to be his dad and live here. I won't lie I was worried how the whole "this will be your other. He's the kid who will always play with...
