The Gothic Two-Step: April 2013
http://gothictwostep.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
For a brighter, less clown-faced future. Thursday, 25 April 2013. WASH YOUR BLOODY FACE - a crash course in the Oil Cleansing Method. Right, you 'orrible lot, you're all getting spotty and trying to hide it with badly applied foundation and it's NOT WORKING! See all those cleansers that boast of being oil-free? Plenty of hot water. Now, that was a very brief crash course in the OCM, I recommend looking it up for more info - here's a more detailed page from Acne.org. Both of these rinse off beautifully, t...

The Gothic Two-Step: September 2011
http://gothictwostep.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
For a brighter, less clown-faced future. Friday, 2 September 2011. What I'm testing tonight. Forgive the dreadfully-lit picture and somewhat daft expression. I'm off to dance the night away and, should my makeup last, I'll have a couple of things to recommend and use in my eyeliner review. Here's what the eyeliner looked like after a night of dancing. I'm bedraggled, sweaty and tired, but the black has not budged - not a single trip to the mirror for touch-ups required! We have a winner!

The Enchanted Parlour: Deck Review - The Vintage Wisdom Oracle
http://enchantedparlour.blogspot.com/2015/08/deck-review-vintage-wisdom-oracle.html
My blog about tarot, metaphysics, spirituality, the gothic subculture and anything else that interests me. Sunday, 2 August 2015. Deck Review - The Vintage Wisdom Oracle. This month for my daily draws on Instagram. I will be using the Vintage Wisdom Oracle by Victoria Mosley. I have been wanting this deck for a while and had the pleasure of receiving it in the mail a couple of weeks ago. I have been working with it a lot recently, and thought I would do a quick review for you all. I'm happy to say I have...

The Gothic Two-Step: January 2012
http://gothictwostep.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
For a brighter, less clown-faced future. Saturday, 7 January 2012. I once tried a detangling spray but it only seemed to make things worse and, bizarrely, stickier. Here's what I doing right now. YOU WILL NEED: Wide-toothed comb, deep-conditioning hair mask, clarifying/deep cleansing shampoo, patience and a bit of time to spare. Detangle any 'easy' bits carefully. Take your time over this - hacking and tugging away with the brush will lead to serious extra damage and potential bald spots. One thing you c...

Petticoats and Saddle Soap: 04/01/2014 - 05/01/2014
http://petticoatsandsaddlesoap.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Petticoats and Saddle Soap. Tuesday, April 8, 2014. Echo of a Song. This image was gotten out of Amazon, which is why it is not so good. I definitely recommend this book. It was sweet and sassy and thought worthy and really funny. I actually was reading the book in class (instead of paying attention of course) and I burst out laughing out loud in a very quiet classroom. I think it's hard to make people actually laugh out loud in books but I don't see why you wouldn't with this book. The arrow keys have t...

The Gothic Two-Step: Killing Time: the Freak tag.
http://gothictwostep.blogspot.com/2013/08/killing-time-freak-tag.html
For a brighter, less clown-faced future. Monday, 19 August 2013. Killing Time: the Freak tag. I try not to engage with these things as I want this blog to be focussed, however my posting has been so near to non-existent recently I reckon I can justify it this one time. I got this from Ali at Zombies Wear Eyeliner. Who does makeup reviews for cheapskates (almost everything is pharmacy brand stuff) and thus is someone I endorse. Check her out. 1 What's a nickname only your family calls you? I have no shame...
