http://greybirdplace.blogspot.com/2009/10/pesto-for-freezing.html
Monday, October 26, 2009. Posted by Faye Craven. How did that come out? I was thinking of trying something like that but I was afraid that the oil would keep it from freezing or separate out. November 17, 2009 at 6:14 AM. It freezes very nicely and the oil actually keeps the basil in the pesto a bright green color. try it! That is if you still have fresh basil).
