Life and Travels the Next Chapter. Monday, May 29, 2006. I know I promised to get some more pictures up here.however I have been waiting for a sunny day to take some of The Chungle and one has not materialized in a week and a half. Marc sent me an email today titled "You know you have been in China too long when." I thought i would pick out the ones that pertain specifically to me, and add some of my own. 1 You no longer wait in line, but go immediately to the head of the queue. Posted by Bethy @ 8:27 PM.

Life and Travels ~ the Next Chapter: October 2006
http://bethhodges.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Life and Travels the Next Chapter. Sunday, October 15, 2006. We were at the Intercontinental Hotel in Kowloon last night meeting up with some friends from Germany. As we went out the front door of the hotel, the bellman asked if we needed a taxi. We said yes - to Kowloon Station. He said, oh yes - you to Tung Chung, him to Central. (him was referring to our friend who was in fact on his way to Central. Hmmmdoes the doorman live in our building in Tung Chung? How on earth did he know? Gung Hei Fat Choy.

http://bethhodges.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Life and Travels the Next Chapter. Wednesday, August 30, 2006. I found some. We had tacos last night. Today I am on my way (in 24 minutes) to the Hong Kong Jockey Club for Dim Sum. Looking forward to it, as it has been a while since I have braved the dim sum arena. Since the Jockey Club is right beside the Happy Valley Racetrack - Marc figures I can order a Coors Light and a hot dog. They sell that at racetracks, right? Posted by Bethy @ 7:11 PM. Tuesday, August 29, 2006. So, today - I made a special tri...

Life and Travels the Next Chapter. Monday, February 27, 2006. 1,060 CDN per month - what does that get you in a rental apartment. Well, well.let me tell you. Marc and I found an apartment on the Cathay Pacific bulletin board that was in the area we are looking at renting. Causeway Bay is on Hong Kong Island, close to pretty much everything. We climb to the 16th floor and the gate is pulled open. Sweet Jesus. What the hell was this? Miss Leung unlocked the large grate across the door to the apartment (ver...

Life and Travels the Next Chapter. Monday, January 30, 2006. At the Sheraton Grande Laguna Phuket, they seem to do everything right. I am a big fan of this property and wanted to highlight something I thought was pretty cool. They have a "Bath Menu". I will give you two examples of menu items;. Chill Out for gentlemen. Life and Travels ~ the Next Chapter: March 2006
http://bethhodges.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
Life and Travels the Next Chapter. Friday, March 10, 2006. Marc and I spent the last 6 days in Shenzhen, China. He was attending an interview for an airline based there. The interview was so intense.it took 5 days. Five days of poking, prodding, ECG's, EEG's, treadmill tests, hearing tests, peeing in a cup, and one session in which they took his clothes off to look for scars. Odd. Yuck, I'm glad I'm back in Hong Kong now. Posted by Bethy @ 7:02 AM. Wednesday, March 01, 2006. Posted by Bethy @ 5:25 AM.
