Maggie's comments are in Red. We left around 6 am, had breakfast at The Cracker Barrel and hit the road at 7. Traffic was pretty light but the weather made it slow going, light flurries and slick road conditions. We saw a lot of cars in the ditch. Things really cleared up halfway through Tennessee. Stopped at the Alabama Welcome Center for a drink and a look at a rocket on display. As was the atmosphere. We needed film and I had to stop a several places before I could find some.
