It is what you'd ask for too, if you've been exposed to non-stop bickering, demanding kids, had inadequate sleep, experiencing PMS, and have encountered difficult individuals. It was a challenge. Since he is our fourth child, it seemed that I've already run out of names. It took Vic and me several months to decide on a name. Then I remembered I've always like the names Joaquin and Lorenzo. Well, as we mature, our priorities change. We became pratical too. Vic and I went on a pre-VDay night out with friends. It was spent singing, drinking and catching up with friends. It was a good night that lasted till the wee hours of the following day. Sunday was spent with our extended family. It was simple. No pretense.

Wednesday, March 3, 2010. Laundry Day (a.k.a. "F*CK YOU"). It all exhausted and infuriated me. I can only imagine what it did to my friends, who seemed patient and courteous enough not to roll their eyes at me whenever I would rant. Your cowardice and cruelty couldn’t have been any clearer. No Unfair, yes. I’d like to think tragedies are made of more honorable stuff. In some ways, we validate our unkindness with stories of our brokenness but it never constitutes cruelty. Good luck.
