Friday, 20 April 2012. Stop motion - Food Chain. After a difficult few months, I have pull myself into this new project call Food Chain, which should be between 30sec - 1min. I used many paper puppets (though there are only 4 characters) and lot of strings, light and a camera. Of cause a bit of computer magic, programme used so far is istopmotion, aftereffect. My work can be termed contemporary realism, comprising of figurative, narrative and symbolic paintings. All paintings are in oils on canvas. Until 2001 my main theme and inspiration was Irish traditional music, musicians and set dancers. From 2002 I worked on a new theme: salsa dancers. For full details click on Exhibitions.
