http://thescrewsfamily.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 9, 2014. Labor Day Weekend in Fairhope. We are back home after 8 days away. We had 2 great trips! I have so many photos, I am going to break it up into two blog posts (still working on downloading pictures from the beach). On Saturday morning (8/30), we drove down to Fairhope to spend Labor Day weekend with the McKean clan. As always, we had a great time! It was hot, hot, hot down there (made Birmingham seem quite cool! Not tall enough yet for the slide! Big fans of the Lego Movie!

The Screws Family: Beach Trip
http://thescrewsfamily.blogspot.com/2015/06/beach-trip.html
Wednesday, June 17, 2015. After the last day of school, we hit the road and went on a quick beach trip! It was such a great 5 days! It was nice to go before the busy summer season and we had amazing weather. Crawford is definitely my child and loves the beach! He was so good this trip and just had the best time! This one had his moments where I considered sending him on a Greyhound bus back to Birmingham. Just kidding! Asleep at the Red Bar. We almost got kicked out when he woke up angry as a hornet.

The Screws Family: June 2015
http://thescrewsfamily.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 27, 2015. We spent a lovely 5 days in Cashiers, NC with Jim's family. We all look forward to this trip every year and it never disappoints. We had the best weather this year and spent every minute possible outside. Crawford never left Madelyn's side the entire trip. They have the best time together. I took so many photos! Get ready for picture overload! Charlie is obsessed with Uncle George! Jim was quite the fisherman on this trip. He caught 5 fish! Two peas in a pod. Much happier on land.

http://thescrewsfamily.blogspot.com/2015/06/easter-2015.html
Wednesday, June 17, 2015. We made the long drive home from Amelia Island in time to spend Easter weekend at home. We had beautiful weather and a lovely weekend celebrating our faith. I thank God everyday for these 3! Only 1 was brave enough to get his picture with the Easter Bunny! Daddy joined in too! They do SO well with photo ops. First attempt at a family photo. Coming back to greet me after a 5-minute golf cart ride. He is the sweetest! Second attempt at a family photo. Thank goodness!

The Screws Family: Last Days at IPC & Graduation
http://thescrewsfamily.blogspot.com/2015/06/last-days-at-ipc-graduation.html
Wednesday, June 17, 2015. Last Days at IPC and Graduation. If that last post made me sad, this one will definitely make me cry. I was pretty much on the verge of tears the whole month of May as we counted our way down to the last day and preschool graduation. I just adore IPC and think they do such a good job making preschool the perfect balance of educational, fun and just such a sweet place to be. They love to dress up at school and had a few dress up days the last week:. Elements of Style Blog. The Gi...

The Screws Family: Cherokee Bend Bound!
http://thescrewsfamily.blogspot.com/2015/06/cherokee-bend-bound.html
Wednesday, June 17, 2015. This post is going to make me happy and sad at the same time. I am having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that Crawford is going to kindergarten in the fall. How did this happen? His sweet elementary school does the best job of making them feel special and excited and welcoming them to their new school. It was such a fun day! We also had Story time with Principal Bell one morning in May and I am so mad I didn't get a photo! He is SO excited for kindergarten! How to ...

SHMorganizing: Baby Books
http://shmorganizing.blogspot.com/2015/05/baby-books.html
Thursday, May 21, 2015. Ohhhhh baby books. Those two little words can conjure up all kinds of emotions, but one emotional constant I've seen when it comes to baby books. Is guilt, specifically "mommy guilt.". I can't say with confidence I've ever met a mother who has completed baby books for all of her children with equal enthusiasm and attention to detail. Some have purchased the books, some were gifted the books, some have started to fill out the books, and some have plans to buy the books one day.
