Saturday was a very good day at Quilt Festival… I started off slowly, arriving downstairs at 10.02 to go onto the show room floor, complete with my blinging lanyard around my neck… note Alzheimer’s pin and Power Quilt Challenge sticker…. Sketchbook Challenge Round Robin. At 530. There was plenty of time to do some shopping before lunch and get back in time for the name drawing…. The third station was.

Laquo; Busy, busy…. A blast from the past. I was wasting time the other day when I came across a picture of a cross stitch design I had published in. Had saved the design and decided now was the time to stitch it for a Christmas ornament challenge. She and others are blogging about. A cute robin even if I say it myself. What a lovely time!

Laquo; A blast from the past. Seeing as it is December and Christmas is barely two weeks away… and I bought the fabrics in Houston… I finally got to work and made a new table runner for the dining room…. Not terribly exciting, but it serves its purpose. Kim Schaefer designed the fabrics for Andover –. Four All Seasons Winter. Here’s a close up…. Now I just need to get on with the matching coasters….
