Sunday, November 21, 2010. On November 17th I chopped 7 inches off my hair! If you know me, you know this RARELY ever happens. I have had long hair since childhood and never have truly given it up. Tuesday, April 26, 2011. This spring has definitely presented some strange weather patterns! Within days of all these photos, we had 70 degree heat, and then woke up to 8 inches of fresh snow! I think it is safe to say that now on April 26th, the snow will STOP for good! Maisy has enjoyed watching the birds chirp on the front bushes :). Sunday, August 14, 2011. On August 4th a bunch of my girlfriends and I left TC to head to VEGAS for Kim's bachelorette party! A FOUR day trip! Thursday, February 24, 2011. Winter Wine and WOW! The Cherry Festival put on the very first Winter Wine Fest this past weekend- -wine tastings, local foods, local distileries, and live music all under a heated tent! Why not enjoy wine with good friends for an evening? This was an awesome display by Grand Traverse Distilleries! My cousin Dan was there! Johnny joined in on the fun. Our group of friends had a blast! Sampling wines is something we are very familiar with.and the company was even better :).

Sunday, March 27, 2011. Grand Rapids day trip! Every winter we take a trip down to Grand Rapids for a Griffin's hockey game. They are a semi-professional team. The Detroit Red Wings often use their best players when they have injuries on their team. We have seen a lot of rookies move up from GR to Detroit over the years. Wednesday, February 29, 2012. After 10 long years, Justin and I decided it was time for an upgrade! We bought a 2009 Saturn! A name we knew we could trust. It's perfect for us as we mature and grow from our college years, to our own little family. We knew we had been so lucky to have had such a great car for so long. We hope our old car goes to a loving family! It's taken us many places, and all in complete safety. It will be sad to see it go, but we know its time for a new chapter in our lives!
