The Abernathy Family: February 2011
http://theabernathyfamily.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 23. Life is never dull with my children. Mary-Kate: "Mommy, I went poo poo on the potty and you are so proud of me! When taking a toy away from Kaden.) Me: "Ok Kaden, give it to me. I have told you 3 or 4 times to stop doing that." Kaden: "It was 4 times Momma.". It definitely made me chuckle as everyone stared. Kaden: "Dear God. Please let it snow this week, but please bring the soft snow this time. In Jesus' name. Amen! It was supposed to be 80*. He needn't worry about snow! While p...

Going out to see the pumpkins. Showing me the pumpkin she chose. Kaden and his best friend listening intently during their story time. Out in the patch. They found a "really big" pumpkin! Showing off their special pumpkins. The start of the Trick or Treat parade at Kid's Day Out. Always such a cheeser! Some of Kade'...

The Abernathy Family: Some serious catch up to do!
http://theabernathyfamily.blogspot.com/2011/11/some-serious-catch-up-to-do.html
Wednesday, November 23. Some serious catch up to do! I have neglected my blog for far too long now. With all there is to do around here, it's just the last thing on the list sometimes. Since a lot of things have not been documented yet, and it's a holiday week, I have decided to play some catch up with the extra time we have! I'm not sure how many posts I'll get to today, but I plan to get caught up all the way to Thanksgiving by the end of the weekend! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A decade as Mom.

The Abernathy Family: Thanksgiving Feast
http://theabernathyfamily.blogspot.com/2011/11/thanksgiving-feast.html
Monday, November 21. Mary-Kate was super excited for us to come to her Thanksgiving Feast at school this week. They put on a performance with many songs, and then feasted on a thanksgiving snack! MK looked concerned when she couldn't find us in the crowd, but when she finally spotted us she was all smiles. She is such a little performer! We were also cracking up because she constantly had her handmade noodle necklace in her mouth most of the time, and was chewing away! Doesn't she just make you laugh?

Monday, October 31. MK and her friend Courtney both dressed as Dorothy. Kaden and his friend Evan were both transformers! This was one of the most unique costumes I have ever seen. MK didn't know how to hand him candy. Lol! Trunk or Treating with friends. They were a little frightened by the ape. Kaden with his friend Carter (Justin Beiber). Brielle, MK, and Brynlee. MK did not know what to make of "her Erin" at first, but then she realized the black hair, tattoos, and jewelry were fake! Basically everyo...

http://theabernathyfamily.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 31. When we were done there we cleaned up and went out to dinner at Ghengis Grill. I had eaten there when we went to Granbury, but Bryan had never eaten there before. He loved it! It is so good. We exchanged gifts at the restaurant. Bryan surprised me with a beautiful new charm for my pandora bracelet. I surprised him with tickets for a tour at Cowboys stadium! I got White Chocolate Caramel Macadamia Nut, and Bryan got a red velvet cheesecake. Bryan was so excited and ready to go! The pi...

The Abernathy Family: First Tooth!
http://theabernathyfamily.blogspot.com/2011/11/first-tooth.html
Saturday, November 12. Kaden has lost his first tooth! It is crazy how that makes him seem so big to me. It had been loose for awhile, and he finally let Bryan pull it out. There were most definitely some tears when he saw the blood, but then he was all smiles. He felt important and proud. The tooth fairy came and brought him $1.00. Being silly now. :).
