I'm Supposed to be Writing. But procrastinating takes up so much of my time…. November 4, 2008. I went and voted this morning. I always bring my kids with me, and I was so worked up, I decided I couldn’t wait until after school to vote. So we bopped off the polling place and found that the line was do-able; I voted and I still got them to school on time. Now I just have to live through the next several hours without consuming all of the Halloween candy in the house out of sheer nervousness.

The writing continues at my snail’s pace – the real danger when you’re trying to maintain a writing career while working a 9-5 is that by the time you finish your contemporary, it’s a historical.
