Sunday, 18 January 2015. SketchDailies entry, a few days late. Cornish Blue Pixies are mentioned in the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. (Gilderoy Lockhart loses control of them in his Defense Against the Dark Art class.). I couldn't quite decide on a design. The two on the right are quite Gerald Scarfe-ish. Labels: Chamber of Secret. Sunday, 29 March 2015. I haven't been posting lately because I've been working on these guys! They were commissioned by MetroVancouver for their NightQuest event. I'm sure they'll make an appearance at several events this year. The banana slug is over 5 feet long The great horned owl is about 3 feet tall. I wanted to put the wings straight out but then he wouldn't fit through doors! They are lit with LEDs and run off batteries. I think it's funny that I earn a living making giant slugs!
