Jenni Enzor: ISWG: Get Out and Do
http://jennienzor.blogspot.com/2015/08/iswg-get-out-and-do.html
On the reading and writing of books. Wednesday, August 5, 2015. ISWG: Get Out and Do. This post is going to be relatively short, because I just got back from a trip and my brain is still on vacation. But I thought I'd share some pictures of what I did on Monday:. Lava River Caves, Bend, Oregon. Photo Credit (both pictures): W. Enzor. But one of the side effects of my lack of adventure is that I tend to draw on my distant past for story ideas, rather than be inspired by the present. Alex J. Cavanaugh.

Jenni Enzor: August 2015
http://jennienzor.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
On the reading and writing of books. Monday, August 31, 2015. MMGM: Cartwheeling in Thunderstorms. I picked up this book, because I so enjoyed Rooftoppers. By Katherine Rundell. However, if you’re looking for a book like Rooftoppers. You might be disappointed. This book is utterly unique. Yes, there’s still an orphan, but this is an orphan who grew up in Zimbabwe. And just wait till she arrives in England! Here’s the synopsis (from Amazon):. And will she have the courage to survive? I noticed this, becau...

Jenni Enzor: MMGM: Stella by Starlight
http://jennienzor.blogspot.com/2015/07/mmgm-stella-by-starlight.html
On the reading and writing of books. Monday, July 6, 2015. MMGM: Stella by Starlight. I hope you all had a happy Fourth! And Happy Canada Day to my Canadian readers! Stella is much different than Draper’s last book, Out of My Mind, which I reviewed here. But equally amazing in its own right. Here is the synopsis:. What I loved about this book:. 1 A thoughtful pace. While it doesn’t have as fast of a pace as a lot of middle grade books, I thought its slower, somewhat meandering pace, really fit the ...

Jenni Enzor: February 2015
http://jennienzor.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
On the reading and writing of books. Monday, February 23, 2015. MMGM: The Castle Behind the Thorns. I picked up this book, because it was a Cybil’s nominee. The title alone intrigued me—it would’ve something I would’ve been drawn to as a kid. (And, no, despite the title and cover- this is not a Sleeping Beauty retelling.) Although the first few chapters were somewhat slow, once I got to chapter four (and a second character entered this story), I was totally hooked. Here is the synopsis (from Amazon):.
