I've spent my whole life waiting because of my weight- - I'll wait to take a romantic vacation with my husband until I lose weight. Thursday, September 29, 2005. The previous post has led me to write this post about birthdays. Let's share some fun facts about our birthdays. Mine is October 4th- -Feast of St. Francis. BUT, the funny thing about my birthday being on this particular feast is that the song, "The Prayer of St. Francis" has been my favorite for years- - before I even knew that my birthday was on his feast. Coincidence? I was born in 1970, which means I'LL BE 35 next week. - - - - - - sigh- - - - - - -. Here's To Good Health.

Tuesday, October 17, 2006. I am literally pulling my hair out today- - - - - - -I am at battle with LICE. I feel that I am losing at this point. St. Michael. Four of the kids got headlice two weeks ago. I had them all cleared- -no nits, no live critters, fresh pillow cases every day, hairbrushes in the dishwasher every morning (to be cleaned in hot water of 130 degrees F), etc. etc. AND, today they are back- - - - - -like Poltergeist. I don't know what I need more- - prayer or a good razor? I've no clue ...

Friday, August 26, 2005. I found these statues in a bedroom, all turned facing the window. This bedroom is shared by three children. I don't know who did it, I don't know why they did it, but I found it rather interesting. Maybe they are thinking, "There's got to be more to life than this dusty window sill.". Saturday, September 17, 2005. I'm getting the itch to go somewhere. Hubby and I are planning on taking a trip this year as our anniversary gift to each other (hey, better than a trash bin, eh? Wink- - - - Just kidding. No hate mail, please. Maybe I'll hire a sitter and have my aunts come. This would split up the day-to-day busy tasks for my mother-in-law.
