I’ve just had my hair cut by my friend’s hairdresser. It’s lovely especially because it’s been done in Julie’s home! I had thought about really going the whole way and having it dyed, but Julie thought otherwise. I am on a cream tea/day bent. Lovely clotted cream and lots of back currant jam. I’ve had very little rain since I arrived on the 31st! First, a day in London with Rebecca, then three days of boogie boarding in Putsborough with my friend, Julie and now to my village, Tockington. It feels like a different country, so much blue sky! Tomorrow, we’re off to Hay-on-Wye for a literary conference and circus. Sounds wonderful! Last day in the UK.

Monday, April 30, 2012. We went from this. Poor little friend. So wet. So sad. Speaking of friends.here's a new little friend we met. I've decided he's a Shebama.(Sheltie, Bassett, Malamute mix.sheltie ears, malamute face, bassett legs and feet). What a sweet little guy.
