Oh, Life with your colorful surprises: I'm the Man

http://www.catiej.blogspot.com/2012/03/im-man.html

Oh, Life with your colorful surprises. John Boiles in Cameroon. View my complete profile. Mar 2, 2012. I like to think of myself as a fighter of injustices, a protector of peace, an advocate for Goodness in the world. Sometimes I feel the weight of oppression crushing the air from my lungs from what I imagine to be a pool of slimy, greedy tadpoles bloated on power and privilege. And then sometimes, this happens. Ever tried to tell an 11-year-old they have to stay within eyeshot of his/her mom? But after ...

Oh, Life with your colorful surprises. John Boiles in Cameroon. View my complete profile. Aug 3, 2009. Home again, home again, jiggidy jig. So that's how it went down. We're out of South America, not quite sure when I'll be back, although I am certain it will be soon. It's hard to adjust to being here, but I am happy. Summers in Nacogdoches always fill me with an almost tangible excitement for the magic that can fill even the nothingness, like fireflies ascending into the black above.

We want victims to be pitiable - their mistakes are in their past and they are vulnerable and limp. We love to pity them, to tell sob stories, and we want them to grovel in gratitude, accept each gift as a gem of generosity while their own wants and desires take sabbatical. But a strong person who is down and out? Hey, do you have a cell phone? I don't kno...

A Section of Life: I love you, goodbye

http://evansjournal.blogspot.com/2008/04/i-love-you-goodbye.html

A Section of Life. If I can stand, let me stand on the promise that You will pull me through, and if I can't let me fall on the grace that first brought me to You. If I sing let me sing for the joy that has born in me these songs, and if I weep let it be as a man who is longing for his home Rich Mullins. Friday, April 25, 2008. I love you, goodbye. These fancy clothes are not mine! Take away these faded faces. This is not who I am. Perfect flowers in empty pots of clay. I am the ashes that you throw away.

My name is Catie. December 30th, 2016 at 2:15AM. The truth is I’m too tired to play pretend. This is good bye, this is the end. The finality of this still stings me three months later. You were the most important person in the world to me and you really let me down. What am I supposed to do from here? I wasted my time with you and now I don’t know where to start to become new again. December 24th, 2016 at 1:57PM. Today in questionably placed quotation marks. December 24th, 2016 at 1:47PM. This Beautiful Life... | My life after college.

This Beautiful Life…. My life after college. January 1, 2011. 8212; catiejoy @ 4:31 am. I will think I will label 2010 as “The year of uncertainty”. Not everyone has to like me or be my friend. O, but the people who are in my life that I just love so much, I am so humbled that God would give them to me. My mom, my dad, my brother bear and his wonderful wifey, and all my fantastic friends, gosh I love em so much it hurts. LOVE: because I also think loving is better than not loving. WRITE: in a journal or ...
