As the pages of the calendar turn, it's evident that saying is only partially true. We all get older, but not everyone gets wiser. Only those who keep an open mind will truly evolve. There’s a little barometer that I find useful. I ask myself; How do I feel after being with someone? Am I drained or energized? Has this person enlightened me, even if his opinion is dissimilar to mine?

The other day I went outside and heard a meowing from above. Lo and behold I looked up and saw Jingles staring down at me. Now you have to realize we have an understanding, I don’t ask how she did it, and she doesn’t tell me. Ignorance is bliss. Later on she got down by herself. I gave up trying to figure out how.
