Does a badger knit in the woods? The knitting trials and tribulations of a furry woodland creature. Sunday, July 30, 2006. Well, of all the things you expect to happen on a boiling hot Sunday afternoon, getting a visit from the postman isn't top of my list! He claimed he was working overtime, which seemed odd to me, but hey - HE BROUGHT ME A PRESSIE! And when I opened it I saw this:. The next package said "Perfect for socks", and indeed it is perfect :). A slow snail, hmmm I wonder who it could be ;) I w...

Does a badger knit in the woods? The knitting trials and tribulations of a furry woodland creature. Friday, June 30, 2006. One skein 2 hours = a F.O! From my LYS on Wednesday (no comments about yarn diets, please! And decided I'd make a start on Aurora from Jelly Allstars. I didn't bother with a swatch, and just cast on, laughing at my recklessness (I know how to live dangerously! And check the smile - she actually likes it! In sock knitting news I got an e-mail from Dee. And to answer Lyonheart. There's...

Does a badger knit in the woods? The knitting trials and tribulations of a furry woodland creature. Wednesday, August 30, 2006. I have barely touched the needles for a week now. So depressing, and so unlike me. However, there has been a good reason for the lack of anything knitterly - I've got a new job! I am now on a graduate trainee librarian programme for the next year at Mansfield library and am feeling like a jolly happy young badger. Hurray for me! In other sock knitting news I got some new wool...

Does a badger knit in the woods? The knitting trials and tribulations of a furry woodland creature. Wednesday, January 31, 2007. Firstly, a big thanks for all the comments from the last post. I have now got over the maudlin period and am back to being my usual shouty argumentative self - hurray! Overall, I just felt a bit let down. It's always a risk when you have your hopes raised that you may be let down, but I think my expectations were so high because of my LYS. I hope I just caught the lady in Yarn ...

Does a badger knit in the woods? The knitting trials and tribulations of a furry woodland creature. Tuesday, September 26, 2006. Baby knitting is the ultimate misleading knitting. I always think I like knitting for them because the clothes are so ickle, and so will be nice and speedy. WRONG WRONG WRONG! Posted by Badger at 9:15 am. Tuesday, September 19, 2006. So very busy :(. Still, I did manage to knit a few things in the last couple of weeks. First, another bib and pair of bootees. Sheffield, United K...

Does a badger knit in the woods? The knitting trials and tribulations of a furry woodland creature. Friday, April 27, 2007. Yesterday was my buffday, so I did what all good badgers do and took a day off work to go on safari. I got to Whipsnade nice and early and looked at the lemurs for a bit. I then sat down for a little rest and what do you know, but Super Monkey. Flew in and landed on my back! Devious also came along to play. I saw lots of animals, but my favourites were the penguins.

Does a badger knit in the woods? The knitting trials and tribulations of a furry woodland creature. Monday, October 02, 2006. What would you do? So, lets suppose that a small person has a hatred of handknits. He has declared he would rather die than wear something his mother had knitted. He rolls his eyes whenever yarn is mentioned (which happens a lot in his household). He basically behaves in the way that typifies many 9 year old males. Posted by Badger at 8:40 pm. Does a badger knit in the woods? The knitting trials and tribulations of a furry woodland creature. Tuesday, March 06, 2007. Because you're never to young to learn how to be a pirate. And it's important to practice your blood curdling screams too. A pirate ensures she looks good from every angle. I wish I had a pirate costume too. I wonder how hard it would be to knit a me sized one? Posted by Badger at 9:52 pm. Saturday, March 03, 2007. Things that have happened since last I blogged:. I Dream of the Sea.
