Life in the Catskills and Beyond. We received free tickets to a sportsman dinner at a local firehouse in Neversink, New York one spring. Our neighbor, devoted huntsman, told us he would be going with two of his daughters (his wife, 2 sons and remaining daughter don’t like venison ). A $75 knife (this was a collector item and would cost $150 tomorrow), and several other hunting-related paraphernalia.
