To help myself improve as a designer, I am a massive believer in using books as a good source of research and also, as a source of inspiration. Recently, within the past month and a half, I think I have gone a little bit book mad and have used the overdraft to improve my ever growing book collection, and of course, my knowledge :). Found this girl in computer arts. I wouldn't say I was the biggest fan of work like this, but when I saw it I couldn't help but want to see more. Before the surgeries started we got to look around the Urbis at the Black Panther exhibition, and also then onto the D&AD Exhibition displaying 45 years of their annuals. I have had no replies as of yet regarding my emails to the companies I mentioned previously. Maybe it's time to be a pest again, and try some more companies, or/and re-try those ones. Although I said previously, I didn't want to try my luck at getting a job/placement in manchester due to financial worries. This company, jukeboxmarketing.

So myself and boyfriend kyle went to away at the weekend to Amsterdam so soak up some culture (not drugs of sex stuff). We had a lovely time doing all the tourist stuff. Thumbs up all round. So now I know that staying up north is the best option,. I now need to;. 1) get organised in regards to finding a place to live. 2) keep contacting companies and organisations for possible work/placements/job opportunities and just general feedback regarding my portfolio. 3) look for part time jobs as money is going to be tight.
