Tuesday, May 31, 2005. Sophie continues to produce on the potty! Although she has no problem going when we put her on it, she doesn't know yet to ask for the potty when she has to go. She just loved it. There is also an exhibit called Water Ways where kids can splash around in little troughs of running water with measuring cups, fountains, balls and whirlpools. It's a pretty good place for babies to run around - she is too young to ask for money or tokens, she doesn't eat the junky stuff they serve there - pizza, etc. and she doesn't even need the rides to turn on to have a good time. Monday, September 26, 2005. I fed Sophie some lunch at the table today, and she sat in her booster seat to eat. I went into the office, and when I came back out, she had climbed ON TOP of the table, and had Halloween candy from the candy bowls in both of her hands! Sophie now puts her finger to her mouth, purses her lips, and utters, hmmmmmm. . . when she is deciding what toy to play with or which book to pull out, OR even when she is looking in the fridge for something to eat! Friday, April 29, 2005. Sophie slept all night! Finally, she slept through the night! She cries a bit when we put her in the crib, but only for less than 2 minutes, then she's asleep. She stayed awake from 6:30 to 10:00am when she took her nap, and then it was only for one hour. She ate lots of pretzels in daycare today. She eats well in daycare, but not for me at home. Sarah at daycare says she likes to steal food from the other children. The other day she alerted me to a cat in a neighbor's yard.
