Our View From Apple Valley: June 2014
http://jsbarnes.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Our View From Apple Valley. Monday, June 23, 2014. We're certainly enjoying the warm up in weather the past few weeks as well as the nice long evenings! We took a quick trip to MT for Mother's Day and then again for Ronan. Tyce is becoming quite familiar with road trips. It rained off and on our first trip to Montana so we spent a fair amount of time inside. And they take such good care of him! We had a fun, relaxing Father's Day. Tyce is a major fan of his daddy, especially when he reads him books!

Our View From Apple Valley. Sunday, September 11, 2011. Less than a month and I'm back with an encore! Mostly because I have perfectly precious news to share.and a little braggin' to do. More on that later. Hubs took me on a date. Boy was it a good one. Think scallops coquille. Hubs took me on another date. Lee Brice and the Waterville Fair. We braved the annual Sanderson camp out and let me tell ya,. There are strange things done under the Roosevelt sun. By the families who camp its shores.

Our View From Apple Valley: Isle of Skye, Scotland
http://jsbarnes.blogspot.com/2015/03/isle-of-skye-scotland.html
Our View From Apple Valley. Thursday, March 5, 2015. Isle of Skye, Scotland. Too much to do and not enough time to do it in. Typical, right? That's how our entire trip through Scotland went. When planning, I knew we wouldn't be able to do it all but I couldn't bare the thought of skipping Skye. It did not disappoint. Spectacular scenery, nail-bitingly narrow roads and crazy unpredictable weather. Just kidding. I do remember a bit more than that. But mostly, I remember being amazed. From Stirling we heade...

http://jsbarnes.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Our View From Apple Valley. Friday, June 10, 2011. A snippet of our days. Well Looks like my two months are up! So, here are a few of the changes our little world has seen since last time. Summer has hit the valley! It's absolutely amazing. We had to endure torrential downpours to get to the sunshine, but it's here now. Hopefully to stay. I've officially sat through my last lecture of nursing school. Next monday is my final exam. I will sit for my boards in a month or so and that will be it! We've recent...

Our View From Apple Valley: March 2015
http://jsbarnes.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Our View From Apple Valley. Thursday, March 5, 2015. How it happened, but somehow. We snagged an upgrade to the penthouse turret suite. Could it have been the 7 month old who screamed through the entire check-in process? Or the fact that we were also traveling with grandma? Either way, it was awesome. We enjoyed a fellowship meeting, the laundry mat and a couch our first day. On day three, the sun was shining and we had plans for a special coffee date. We also wandered through St. Gile's Cathedral. It wa...

Our View From Apple Valley: January 2012
http://jsbarnes.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Our View From Apple Valley. Sunday, January 1, 2012. Catching up to now. So my blog archive tells me that I posted 7 times in 2011. Seven. Not that my numbers were stellar in years past, peaking in 2008 with 45. Then a steady decline of 41, 21. I debated turning this into a New Years resolution but given my history, it seemed kinda like setting myself up for failure. So, no resolutions.just a really long post with lots of pictures. As much as him. And Julie came along for the trip! If Branson looks tired...

Our View From Apple Valley: November 2014
http://jsbarnes.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Our View From Apple Valley. Thursday, November 6, 2014. Visiting Great Britain.Part 1. Tyce rocked his first flight and was as happy as could be. By the time we reached Scotland he was singing (or screeching) a slightly different tune. There was a mishap with our luggage but after a few extra hours in the airport we were on our way! On the 'wrong' side of the road! As expected, St. Andrews was lovely. We were amazed by all the stone work. Everywhere! We were on our fourth day of the trip and Tyce's suitc...

Our View From Apple Valley: May 2014
http://jsbarnes.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Our View From Apple Valley. Friday, May 16, 2014. Not much is getting checked off my 'To Do' list lately. In fact, this month's list looks a lot like last's. As to be expected, our days entail a lot of baby holding, baby feeding, baby changing, baby bouncing, baby washing.but we're loving it! Cleaning up the mess wasn't quite as enjoyable! Now the house is feeling a little more exposed and in need of a paint job. A little landscaping wouldn't hurt either. I've been amazed by how much change everyday brin...

Our View From Apple Valley: August 2011
http://jsbarnes.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Our View From Apple Valley. Saturday, August 27, 2011. I said I'd be back in August. At the time I meant it more as a joke. Turns out I really am that bad about updating my blog. In the past few months we've managed to eat a few s'mores, spend some lovely hours on the lake, survive one short early morning hike, make a weekend trip out of 1066 miles and thoroughly enjoy our friends and family. Exactly what summer is all about. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Here you will find the story of a. The Eye Ball 2007.
