Costa Rica 2009: Sunday- Day One

Sunday, March 29, 2009. We arrived safe and sound and enjoyed a beautiful and very warm Costa Rican afternoon. After getting everyone settled into the hotel, we headed out for some shopping at a downtown market and then had a delicious dinner. Everyone is enjoying a swim before bed. On Monday we will head out to see the beautiful Costa Rican countryside with a visit to a volcano and a canopy tour on the zip-line. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Tuesday, March 31, 2009. We had a blessed day today in LaCarpio. The seniors took charge and did an absolutely fantastic job with the children and in the construction project. We are enjoying some rain showers which have been very helpful in cooling things of a bit. We will head back to the church on Wednesday for another day of ministry and will be joining the congregation for their Wednesday evening service. Monday, March 30, 2009. Sunday, March 29, 2009. Thursday, April 2, 2009. We had around 170 children in the two sessions and the construction crew was able to get all of the concrete work done. They also removed a large slab of concrete and dug a hole to China. It was sad to say adios to our new friends. Tomorrow we head to the coast for a relaxing day at the beach.
