Starting in Madrid and seeing where I end up, using the Anywhere Travel Guide to help me along. Asymp; 2 Comments. This card was drawn for me by Scott, another one of the amazing servers at Lisa Marie, we bonded pretty much the first time we met over books. I’m going to apologize in advance that I don’t follow your directions very well Scott! I will be sure to return and see it all next time! The palace and the gardens were beautiful, you could really feel the history there. You could see the old paint t...

A Spectacle of an Adventure (#5) | Discovering the Unexpected

https://cbero.wordpress.com/2014/08/04/a-spectacle-of-an-adventure-5

Starting in Madrid and seeing where I end up, using the Anywhere Travel Guide to help me along. A Spectacle of an Adventure (#5). Asymp; 6 Comments. This card was pulled for me by the lovely Taylor. He is always looking for a good story, which is most likely why he sent me on this terrifying adventure. Taylor, I would have NEVER done this without pulling this card. Thanks for pushing me! People apparently dress up for the bull fight and I didn’t have a dressy enough red top so I put on red lipstick.

Starting in Madrid and seeing where I end up, using the Anywhere Travel Guide to help me along. Asymp; Leave a comment. This card was pulled for by George, who has put up with a lot of shenanigans from friends and I at Lisa Marie (who have amazing food if you haven’t been! Sorry George, I decided to make it a full day adventure and not just a night. Segovia is most famous for their aqueduct that snakes its way through the city, and the views you can find. Next I found the cathedral. Would I go again?

https://blueeyesabroad.wordpress.com/2014/07/08/20-things-to-know-before-visiting-south-america

20 Things to Know Before Visiting South America. July 8, 2014. After exploring South America for the past 8 weeks, trying more fish than I’ve had in my entire life, and falling in love with the mentality of the people, I’ve managed to compile a list of 20 things I think might be useful for anyone heading to that part of the world. Think something should be included on the list? Seriously. However, for tourist hotspots or say, trumpet playing Mexican places in Quito, they will bend the rules a little.

The Adrenaline Junkie’s Guide to Queenstown, New Zealand. February 18, 2014. Much to mother’s absolute horror, I find definite satisfaction in putting my life in danger…in the safest possible way, of course. Which is why, as she waved me goodbye and watched me board my flight for my three week New Zealand adventure, she was already mentally wringing her hands together in worry. Hotel Review: The Four Seasons, Sydney | Blue Eyes Abroad

https://blueeyesabroad.wordpress.com/2014/02/23/hotel-review-the-four-seasons-sydney-2

Hotel Review: The Four Seasons, Sydney. February 23, 2014. The Four Seasons chain has successfully linked itself to the word “luxury” and has a list of repeat clients the world over for a good reason. I recently played and slept in The Four Seasons Sydney and considering Sydney is by far my favourite Australian capital city, the Hotel already had the advantage in my books. As I stepped off the plane where for the last few hours I had displayed exceptional self control in not strangling the. And let&#8217...

https://blueeyesabroad.wordpress.com/2014/07/10/visiting-a-third-world-country

Visiting A Third World Country. July 10, 2014. 8220;This is so sad”, was the one thought bouncing through my head, mingled with equal parts shock and disbelief. I had just touched down in Ecuador, and I couldn’t have been more insultingly further from the truth. 8221; I am blessed to have met them. I am blessed to have learned from them. So, when you visit a third world country, do it with an open mind and look past the surroundings, look at the people. After all, it’s the people that d...Please note: Th...

My Travel To Do List. February 16, 2014. Everyone has that fantasy list of places they want to visit.
