Tuesday, September 24, 2013. I really feel like these days I'm in the sweet spot of parenting. Watch, I've just jinxed it. And yet, my girls are growing up and more independent. We can go places without a diaper bag. Although wipes will be in my purse til the day I die. They have more defined interests and can have conversations and still, get this: want to be with me. Monday, August 9, 2010. What do you get when you add the following ingredients together? At least 10 children 5 and under with meltdowns pending at any given moment. A dinner at Carolyn's house. A birthday party at Corinne's. Bell cousins from out of town. Lang cousins/ aunts/ uncles etc not from out of town helping themselves to our pie. Any number of tete a tetes between the wild boys. Lots of amazing food and of course, alcohol. At one point he just looked at me and told me he needed some fresh air.

Friday, September 25, 2009. On Wednesday, Papa Steve, Grandma Carolyn and I got the privilege of taking the little girls to the fair and it was a wild ride to be sure! We started out with the Cotton Candy which they weren't particularly impressed with. Then we attempted to go look at the animals. Pearson did the best with not being afraid of them and the camel was fascinating and scary. Then we moved on to the eating portion of the day which of course concluded with Icecream. Tuesday, October 19, 2010. This Saturday I got the privilege of taking some new Latvian friends into Seattle. First of all, it was a gorgeous, rarely sunny October day - perfection! I ahd heard rumors that riding the duck was pretty fun and I hadn't done it before, so I decided to take them with me.
