http://cbobservatory.blogspot.com/2009/08/wizard-word-comic-con-day-2.html

The Comic Book Observatory. Saturday, August 08, 2009]. Wizard Word Comic Con Day 2. You"ll have to excuse my lack of coverage from the first day. Due to family obligations and some very uncooperative weather and traffic, I cut my losses and stayed home! Day two offered me a ton of photo's and with the obvious absence of the biggest publishers in comics (Marvel, DC, Darkhorse. The Demon #2 1980's Matt Wagner Mini x2- - .50. The Demon Driven Out #4,5,6 - - -.25 a piece. 1,2,3,4 - - - .50 a piece.

The Comic Book Observatory. Friday, July 03, 2009]. Green Lantern Corps #38. We're just two weeks away and this Prelude to Blackest Night is getting me over excited! There are not going to be any spoilers, but it looks like the little Blue Guardians may actually be trying to piss off everyone in the galaxy! I had such a great time reading this issue that after I stopped and thought about it, I read it a second time before I read anything else. I enjoyed it THAT MUCH! As good as GLC #38 was, Jonah Hex#45.

The Comic Book Observatory: Late Reviews & Updates

http://cbobservatory.blogspot.com/2009/04/late-reviews-updates.html

The Comic Book Observatory. Friday, April 24, 2009]. Late Reviews and Updates. First onto the updates, which have some pretty big Zone 4 news. Tonight I will be recording the latest installment of the Zone 4 podcast with Brant, Cary, and Jason. This should be the beginnings of our new format that will premier next weekend. Zone 4 will be splitting into it's own feed on the Comic Related site and will be available for downloading via iTunes. As for reviews, I'm extremely late in getting these out, so they...

Desultory Views: January 2009

http://desultory-views.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html

Monday, January 26, 2009. The weekend before was also the first birthday for my step dad Lou since he passed away last year too. I miss him a lot. And I don't mind saying that my life is just a little less brighter without his cackling laugh and horribly fantastic sense of humor. He shaped so much of my outlook and personality in my teen years that I can't imagine myself without him. I love him and I miss him. Friday, January 16, 2009. Even I am Cold. And after having to take Thursday off, Meva. I spent ...

Desultory Views: October 2008

http://desultory-views.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html

Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Stuck in the Mud. It's funny how the older you get all the predictions of your parents and teachers happen again and again. Friday nights are really "swinging" if you're up past midnight, let alone even out of the house, the thought of having McDonald's for dinner if a real let down, and how eventually you'll become concerned about voting in ALL the issues if you have any concern for your community. Has any of this happened to me yet? Well, other than an occasional McRib. Every...

Desultory Views: December 2008

http://desultory-views.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html

Wednesday, December 31, 2008. Out with a whimper. Tonight I'm marking the end of 2008, which by most people's measures would be a rather shitty one due to losing my Step-Dad and then later my Mother. Although they didn't surprise anyone, knowing they will be dying soon and then living with that baited anticipation isn't much comfort and doesn't make things much easier. Yet with their respective passings. In a nutshell (can two paragraphs really be succinct enough to fit in a nutshell? That was really gre...

Desultory Views: February 2011

http://desultory-views.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html

Wednesday, February 02, 2011. That's me trying my best to be witty as I describe my day. I think that when this storm will have passed, everyone is going to be yammering on and on about all the obstacles they've had to overcome and perceiver. For the most part they'll all sound the same. I'm sure mine will too, so I'll try not to be too cliche' in anything I tell. I'm still playing games, but I took 94% of that whole mess away. It's a small start, but it's a positive one and I'm enjoying it so far.

Desultory Views: July 2009

http://desultory-views.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html

Sunday, July 05, 2009. Sometimes the past is creepy. I came across this link. Anyways, take a few minutes and check out the link and the rest of the site, it's should provide you with some good laughs. That's it for now. It's anow almost 6am and I need to decide if I'm going to try one last time for some sleep, or if I am going to hang it up and start some coffee. I guess I'll just stare at the strange Autumn-like fog that has crept in from some past or future October. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Other C...

http://desultory-views.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html

Friday, July 11, 2008. Pitter Patter On The Roof. Normally when it rains I'm able to fall right to sleep and rest peacefully. For some reason that's not working today. Hopefully my meds. Will kick in and I can get some sleep here soon. It's going to be pretty busy for the next 10 days starting with tomorrow. I have an appointment to have my gums scraped at 7:00am so I can get two teeth capped off with crowns. Lucky me huh? On top of that I need to prepare my house and get ready for my son Perrin's. I thi...

Desultory Views: April 2009

http://desultory-views.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html

Thursday, April 23, 2009. Almost two years ago we had to replace our air conditioning unit because Gus peed all over the coils and basically killed the thing. Shortly there after I spoke about my general dislike of all things Gus, the ridiculous amounts of money he's cost us and how he has bitten people, the most traumatic was Sarah. If my memory is right it consisted of 4 questions, and the first one was loaded about your outlook on orhanized religion. Still, I got a big kick out of it! We spent a great...

Desultory Views: November 2008

http://desultory-views.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html

Monday, November 24, 2008. From Bad to Worse. So, I already wasn't feeling good today and I originally thought I would do the minimum and take it easy. Some people say that even if you aren't feeling too horrible, it's a good idea not to do to much because you can often make mistakes. That's definitely true today. Well, that put a stop to the insulation project, which will have to wait until I can find someone much leaner than myself to go back up there and finish things. Of course, more calamity ensues ...

Desultory Views: May 2008

http://desultory-views.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html

Wednesday, May 21, 2008. It's been too long since I've had a chance to sit down and air out my thoughts and update what I've been up to, which is ironic because in many ways I feel like I haven't been doing anything, but that's really not the truth. Otherwise just know that I've taken treatment away from the doctors and I think I'm doing better than ever. And chewing on everything. Perrin. Nights like this make for extremely long days afterward, that's for sure. Makes me smile and laugh when I hear a...

Goiás perde a Sulamericana.

My Arts Challenge, strengths & Weaknesses. October 6, 2015. September 28, 2015. As part of our Silver Arts Award we had to attend a live event. After much discussion many options were investigated, including an open-air cinema showing of Back to The Future, a performance at the Globe Theatre/Cardiff Theatre, and the gaming convention EGX. We eventually decided to attend EGX, as it was relevant to all of our interests. Unit 1 – Art Challenge. September 21, 2015. Due to my passion for science, I related it...

Choose My Own Adventure

Choose My Own Adventure. The misadventures of a young man as he figures out what to do with this whole "life" deal. Monday, March 19, 2007. Can this please be over? Vinod, at the Mutiny has a post. If anything, it would have resulted in an even faster, more brutal massacre. The military alternative is the way of Ho Chi Minh or Che Guevara. Would an Indian version of the Vietnam war really have been a better way to gain independence? Now, would a Gandhian strategy have prevented the Holocaust? To hold it&...
