Sunday, February 28, 2010. Saturday, February 27, 2010. Congrats to my brother Andrew and his. Fiance, Gentry, who just got engaged! To quote Andrew when he called me,. It's early, so you can't say "no you're not". I asked Gentry to marry me and she said yes. So for some back story. When Chris and I got engaged, I called Andrew to tell him. But it was 11:00 or so, he was in bed, and I woke him up. So when I told him, he replied, "No you're not." Yeah, thanks for the support. Wednesday, February 24, 2010.

Thursday, January 28, 2010. Spring, Hurry up and get here. Please. Earlier this week we had a "warm" spell. It was in the 40s. Glorious! The warmer temperatures, combined with some rain, and the foot or so of snow on the ground mostly all melted away. I knew it was too good to last. I've ordered tomato, asparagus, rhubarb, and strawberry plants and lots of seeds-. Four o'clocks (never heard of these before, but they looked pretty). Wow, that's a lot of stuff! Wednesday, April 21, 2010. Floods, gardening, and what were they thinking? Remember how I mentioned that we had a lot of rain in March? On the home front, to make the garden all nice and pretty we ordered 4 yards of mulch. In hindsight 3 yards probably would have been sufficient, but we found places to lay it down a little thicker, etc. Anyway, as I was sitting in the car while Chris went into the grocery store I looked over and saw this sign at the cart corral. Tuesday, November 03, 2009. So there's this blog that I follow called Cake Wrecks. And on this blog, they feature things like this cookie creation. We had a Halloween Party at work (more on that later) and someone brought in this cookie for the party. As soon as I saw the inscription, I immediately thought of Cake Wrecks. Monday, June 22, 2009. Sunday was Father's Day and in honour of the occassion I made these very cute desserts. I got the idea, directions, and templates from Bakerella. Pretty easy to make, but a bit time consuming due to all of the steps. But worth it, I think. Next up, cake pops? Thursday, June 18, 2009. Happy belated 12th of June! Apparently our town decided that they didn't want to deal with fireworks on the 4th of July, so instead they had them last Friday. Huh? Silly me, I assumed it was live.

Thursday, June 11, 2009. Ben's, and mine! Tuesday night, Ben and I met Scott, Minda and Andrew at the Cottage View Drive In and we saw "UP". Of course the trouble with a drive-in is the movies start pretty late for little boys, so I don't think Ben saw much of the movie. But it was a little cool, so it was a good night for footed jammies and snuggling up with a blanket. We loved "UP", by the way. Tim and I loved UP too. I see Ben is looking like a little person now, and not like a baby anymore.
