Wednesday, January 21, 2009. Not much going much in January for us except for basketball. But here are a few funny pictures that I have taken and wanted to share! And Carson both got ear infections and had to have ear drops in their ears. One day we forgot as we were leaving so I just told them I would do it in the car. (Chris was driving of course :-) ) But they didn't want to stop playing their. So this is how they road half way to where we were going. Gotta keep playing even if it breaks your next!

Monday, February 21, 2011. We purchased this china hutch last week at an antique store. We're not sure if we are going to stain it or paint it. I'll guess we'll figure that out as we go. Stay tuned! Friday, February 4, 2011. White Christmas (at least in North Carolina) with the Barnettes. Mandy's Grandmother as we were passing out gifts. She must have been good this year. :). One of the gifts from Tate's Mimi and Pop was a big wheel. He looks like he is climbing on his hog. The Yearly Family Picture.

Sunday, June 19, 2011. Since the summer heat has been upon us 100% (what happened to spring? Well done H&H Products and Hartley's Lemonade! We celebrated Memorial Day by having my sister Beth and her family over for the day. We smoked some ribs and broke out the slip n slide. We had a great time and Tate got to experience one of the classic summertime events of the slip n slide for the first time. He also discovered he really likes ice cream cones! Sam is under there somewhere! Sam in action again.

An object of desire or interest. The synonyms mean intense emotion compelling action. That is what I desire. Specifically passion for God. I read another's. Blog, and I sense her passion. I hear someone's. Passion is what I desire. True, heart-aching, soul-burning passion. What do I want more: tranquility or passion for God?

And just thought I would share. Friday, January 08, 2010. Truly may be our last child. That possibility gives me pause so many times.like tonight. Will I ever have an infant sleeping in my room again? At such a fun stage - she's becoming more aware of her surroundings each day and LOVES her brother and sister. Nothing makes her smile bigger. She's all about grabbing at whatever she can get her hands on and she's even sat up by herself! I can't believe she's been with us 5 months already! Insert Creative ...
