Greg's Perspective: Book Review: What if?
http://gregbrock.blogspot.com/2014/12/book-review-what-if.html
Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Book Review: What if? And so it begins, the first book of the new series. To be fair, this isn't a cover to cover read. It's more of a coffee table/toilet kind of book. So, I'm giving my impressions from having flipped through it and reading random parts over the last week. It's written by the author of the popular xkcd. Webcomic, Randall Munroe. What If? Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions. Could they move the island at all? What if I took a swim in a ...

Saturday, August 11, 2012. The Myth of Self-Sufficiency. It's an interesting dichotomy, because I believe self-sufficiency is a myth. No one accomplishes anything alone. Gladwell's book Outliers. And Si makes 3. Life with our newest little miracle. Saturday, September 18, 2010. Can't get enough of this cute face! Caleb and I are absolutely smitten with this little boy! We laugh all day long and love, love, love life with Josiah. Sweet, sweet baby. Posted by Caleb and Anna Fields. Monday, September 13, 2010. 14 months and quite the busy little boy. Josiah has made himself quite busy and useful around the house these days. If he's not sweeping up (one of his favorite pastimes. After multiple attemp...

and Si makes 3: Lion cub
http://fieldsforum.blogspot.com/2010/11/lion-cub.html
And Si makes 3. Life with our newest little miracle. Sunday, November 7, 2010. I personally think we excelled in the creativity department with our safari theme for Halloween this year! We tried to get Traci to be a giraffe. She graciously participated in our family theme night for Halloween last year), but declined this year for a better party! We mistakenly assumed Josiah would refuse to wear some or all of his costume so we bought the cheapest lion we could find. Turns out he loves it! I hope this blo...

and Si makes 3: March 2010
http://fieldsforum.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
And Si makes 3. Life with our newest little miracle. Thursday, March 18, 2010. The beginning of mobility. Now that Si is getting from one place to another with slightly more agility, it seems like there are hazards and cords and sharp obstacles everywhere. A little scary to say goodbye to the ease of immobility, but we are so excited too! We have a crawler (almost, he still rolls to get most places quickly) and life as we knew it is over! Check out our progress! What a cutie, huh! It was so worth it!

Greg's Perspective: November 2011
http://gregbrock.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 26, 2011. We started today off by heading over to the Children's Museum. Carolyn usually takes the kids there while I'm at work, so it was nice to be there with them. Elisa loved playing in the clay room and Jonathan loved hitting the piles with the little hammer they had. After lunch, there were naps for everybody. Then we headed downtown. The kids loved the tree in Pioneer Square. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Portland, Oregon, United States. View my complete profile.

Greg's Perspective: February 2011
http://gregbrock.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 24, 2011. This morning we barely made it outside in time to play in the snow before it melted. Fortunately, it snowed again this afternoon so Carolyn got them all ready again for their second dose of snow play today. I'm still hopeful that we'll have more by tomorrow morning. Greg's Perspective: June 2011
http://gregbrock.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Does 10 years of marriage make us old? Maybe two kids does it? Either way, I couldn't be more happy to be spending life together with Carolyn. She's great, fantastic, and amazing. We had a great anniversary trip and I'm so thankful that we be partners in parenting, life and everything else. These are all pictures from our trip to San Diego for our anniversary. And yes, that burger was amazing. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Portland, Oregon, United States. View my complete profile.
