CBT is based on scientific principles and is the recommended treatment of choice by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) for depression and a range of anxiety disorders. Anxiety disorders include generalised anxiety disorder (GAD), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), panic attacks, specific phobias, social anxiety, health anxiety / hypochondriasis, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and body dysmorphic disorder (BDD). Planned follow-up and top-up appointments are available.
