Car Gallery - CC CYCLONE. This is a varied selection of shots that I've uploaded so far. I'll probably separate them out into different folders eventually. My thanks to Ken Dando for some of the later shots. Light Blue car (XEC 279Y) - I bought this from the original builder, and it featured a bog standard 1.8 litre Astra engine, complete with original injection system. I replaced the original Corbeau buckets with the same Cobra Roadster 7 seats I had fitted in my first Cyclone.

Suspension Set-Up - CC CYCLONE. Here you'll find the recommended specification (as originally outlined by Car Craft) for setting up the Cyclone's suspension. Wheels/Tyres: Alloys should be 7x15 with a 100mm pcd and 15mm offset. Front tyres should be 195x50 R15 and rears 205x50 R15. Turbo cars can be upgraded to 8 rims and 215x50 R15 tyres. Rear ride height: Measured from the lower edge of the rear chassis cross member down to the ground. 140-150mm. Front toe: 2mm toe in. Adjusted via the track rods.

History - Pt3 - CC CYCLONE. THIS PAGE PICTURES: This is the very first road registered Cyclone, using a 1.8-litre Vauxhall engine running twin carbs. This would later get a Calibra Turbo engine. These nostrils were further developed on later cars, along with revised front mudguards and a fibreglass tub to drop into the floor of the front storage bin to improve its capacity. The wing mirrors were also further tweaked to improve visibility. Continued on page 4. Back to page 2.
