The Petersen Family: Sick and Sweet Week
http://dcpetersen.blogspot.com/2015/07/sick-and-sweet-week.html
Family Photo fall of 2014. Sunday, July 19, 2015. Sick and Sweet Week. Last Sunday I tried to make fudge - but it went to sugar. So we made smores instead for our FHE treat. I tried to make fudge again on Monday and it turned out fine.finicky recipe. It's nice having Damon around, he watched his siblings on Tuesday so I could go grocery shopping. Doug had Damon and Tyler learn how to use a lawnmower and how to cut the grass on Saturday. Fun hair today. :). Rob and Emily Willardson Family.

The Petersen Family: July 19 Week Review
http://dcpetersen.blogspot.com/2015/07/july-19-week-review.html
Family Photo fall of 2014. Sunday, July 26, 2015. July 19 Week Review. Monday: Normal day of laundry and getting household things done. I worked a lot with my calling this week. I've been working on a Cub Scout orientation sheet and I finally got that done. We have about half of our primary teachers out of town right now, so it's a constant chore to make sure we have subs and make sure they know what lesson they're on, room assignment, etc. Kaylee had a bit of a fever, but it didn't seem bad. Then we wen...

The Petersen Family: May 2015
http://dcpetersen.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Family Photo fall of 2014. Sunday, May 24, 2015. The week of awesomeness and business" - says Damon. This week was busy, but I can't remember all the things we did. I didn't take a lot of pictures but this is what I got:. Friday Chris had a field trip with his preschool to Old McDonald's Farm. It was an okay place, the one we went to in Firestone was bigger, but we were able to pet the animals at this one - plus have a train and pony ride. The kids had a good time. Chris said he liked the rabbits the best.

The Petersen Family: Rubik's Cube
http://dcpetersen.blogspot.com/2015/07/rubiks-cube.html
Family Photo fall of 2014. Sunday, July 12, 2015. The first two layers are easy but the third layer is done by memorizing algorithms so you basically just have to memorizes turning the right, left, top, or front and the sequences. So anyway, throughout the day you can find the four of us solving and resolving the rubik's cube appeasing our inner geek-ness. :). Rob and Emily Willardson Family. It looks like you are having a fun summer! Your Sea World trip looked like you had a great time!

The Petersen Family: January 2015
http://dcpetersen.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Family Photo fall of 2014. Sunday, January 25, 2015. First big outing in Texas. The drive wasn't bad, I-45 is a big and busy freeway, but at that time of day we didn't really have any bad traffic. It took us about 30 minutes to get there. I followed my friend Kasi so I wouldn't get lost. We got there early so we waited a bit for it to open. Yes, Tyler is giving bunny ears to Damon - typical brother. It was very bright on the Ferris wheel. The aquarium in right off of I-45. Naps are getting harder, the gi...

The Petersen Family: August 2014
http://dcpetersen.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Family Photo fall of 2014. Sunday, August 31, 2014. Last week of August. Last Sunday in singing time the teachers got to wear funny hats if their class was singing well. It got the kids motivated and was fun. Two cute girls snuggling up and resting. Jenna's was two braids tied together at the side. The girls are crazy little monkeys. We got out the slip 'n slide yesterday after if finally warmed up after a week of coolness, cloudiness, and rain. We are ready for September and for whatever the fall brings.

The Petersen Family: October 2014
http://dcpetersen.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Family Photo fall of 2014. Sunday, October 26, 2014. The party was fun, we just visited and ate some munchies. I made deviled eggs, but the recipe must have been wrong because they were soooo salty. I googled how to fix it and was able to make it a bit better, but they were still pretty bad. I sighed and said oh well. They still got eaten, but I bet everyone thought - "whoa! As they ate them. This was the first time I had tried fake eyelashes, they were pretty fun. They sparkled at the end. Doug came hom...

Family Photo fall of 2014. Sunday, August 30, 2015. Last Week of Summer. Lots of boxes, oil, and eggs. Friday we went to Pump it Up one more time with some friends. The girls collided heads really bad at the end and that expedited our departure to say the least. The boys have been spoiled with their screen time and play time over the summer. I really should have had them earn it more - but I guess I don't mind letting them be kids. Once school starts they will be in screen time withdrawals. They had the ...

The Petersen Family: Last Week of July
http://dcpetersen.blogspot.com/2015/08/last-week-of-july.html
Family Photo fall of 2014. Sunday, August 2, 2015. Last Week of July. Monday Chris went to the dentist for the first time. He did a pretty good job. He was nervous and cried a bit during the x-rays but overall I would said it was a success. He didn't have any cavities so that was great news. There is a doughnut place next to the dentist office (appropriate right? So I bought him a doughnut. He got a cool stealth fighter jet toy from the dentist so he was pretty excited about that too. Friday I watched my...
