What Up Blog?: Baby Blessing
http://lanceandlindsay.blogspot.com/2011/05/baby-blessing.html
Here is Nora's big day. Since our lives seem to revolve entirely around her, we decided to have a party on her behalf so that everyone else's lives could revolve around her as well. At least for one day. She really does need more attention. Being adored by 3 individuals is simply not enough. I realize that eventually I will have to come up with another reason, but I am grateful for the extra help the baby blessing expectation provides. The End (vigor - ha). I love those little screamers!

There was basement ball. Walks to the flooding river (awesome). A trip to the "Meat House" (also awesome). A belated birthday celebration for Maren (awesome). This roofing company (which I thought deserved some free advertising). This barrel was for shooting fish. Turns out it. Really is easy.). There weren't many cages, letting the animals roam around their respective habitats sometimes close enough to touch. But they frowned on actually touching. Thanks Maren and Rob). The last few weeks have been busy and filled with friends. Lance's high school friends were all in town at the same time, and there was much partying to be done before Dave went back to Virginia, Darren went back to Detroit, and Garrett went to Iraq. Since Garrett's trip was the longest we dubbed him the winner and got him a cake. A Happy Iraq cake. There were many late nights, lots of food, and the occasional bodily injury (air soft pellet guns), but fun was had by all that will have to last until the n...

I know he loves to watch em. This one is kind of old but it gives me a chance to test out the superior video quality that youtube provides. C'mon google, you own both blogger and YouTube, what gives? Here is the pumpkin I carved all by myself a half hour before the trick-or -treaters started showing up (so the procrastination still made a slight appearance - baby steps). Waiting for more kids. Still waiting for those kids. Lance shamelessly impeding on Brian's head tickles. Alex all pimped out. Sixteen o...

http://lanceandlindsay.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
December was filled with many activities that will turn into fond memories. Here are some of them. The First Snow Storm. Somehow what daddy did with the leaves the day before didn't quite translate to snow). Cousin Birthdays (Happy Birthday Jonah and Christian too - sorry no pictures of the later). General Merry Cousin silliness (I stole these pics Maren. Thanks). Making messes with Cousins that were just funny enough to keep them out of serious trouble. This is the Place Park. Cottages full of activities.

In the end, yes it was a miserable day, but it was only one miserable day. I do need to count my lucky stars and give credit to a smart and obedient girl who is a fast learner. Kudos Alex. I don't have any pictures of this segment due to other more pressing matters at the time, but let's be honest that is not something you want to see anyway. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My my you are a tall drink-o-water. Lance: 6 foot 10 Lindsay: 6 foot 3 . Alex: Yes we know. She'll be tall. Nora: ditto.

No we are not potty training Alex, and we have not had any recent disasters with that particular number ending up on my carpet anywhere. This is a different number 2. A much much more exciting number 2. I am talking about baby number 2! In the words of a well re-nowned movie "I must scream it too the world, my excitement, from the top of someplace very high! We are super super super excited/humble/grateful. I don't really have words. Just a very happy heart. Presents include a wide array of Cars parapher...

We had our definitive ultrasound and the results are in. It's a GIRL (as reiterated from the title) We love girls! After dinner the box of Halloween's past was retrieved from the basement, full of its forgotten terrors and modeled by my brother Corbin. This number I believe is a version of Barry Manilow, Peter Pan, and Daniel Boone. After which the wig quickly scurried away. And here is a California raisin, which I still remember my mother dancing on stage in for a Relief Society Dinner of some sort.

There's no place like Home. On March 4th at 9:30 am Elder Tyrel Jan Beckstrand arrived home from a succesful mission. We were all really excited. My entire family made the trip to the airport for the occasion, including an electronic version of my sister. Thanks to the airports free WIFI, Skype, and Corbin's fancy laptop we were able to channel Missouri and include my sister through cyber space. Temple Square, what homecoming would be the same without a trip here. Alex loved the giant Sheshu (Jesus).

Is occurring, but then for 10 sometimes 15 minutes I am granted a brief reprise. I haven't heard any spooky voices giving me advice yet, but it still seems to do the trick. I leave feeling refreshed and ready to jump back into the fray. Sweet momentary solitude paired perfectly with my Blessed Chaos. When they are going to be inserting a needle into your SPINE a pillow is of little comfort when compared to a husband! Sisters side by side. My wonderfully talented photographer friend, "Auntie Tone", took s...
