Saturday, August 6, 2011. We've come a long way, baby! Brady Thomas on his actual birthday. His 1st birthday party. And his 3rd birthday. It all went by so fast! We threw a pizza party at our house to celebrate. Brady was such a help with the decorations (or not). The theme was "Cars" - not terribly original, but it is what he loves and thankfully the party supplies were abundant. This was a popular spot with the little boys :). He was spoiled with many presents! A bike from Grandma and Grandpa was a hit!

Thursday, July 28, 2011. Summer Vacation in Iowa. We took a week-long vacation at my parents' house in Iowa at the beginning of July. Normally only Brady and I get to go, but this year we had the pleasure of Daddy's company! We all got to meet Baby Lilia Jane, the newest DeArment and a gorgeous sweetheart just like the rest of us! Brady had a BLAST - nonstop playing with cousins and Grandma and Grandpa. At the end of every day he was an exhausted, dirty, smelly, sunscreen soaked mess. Love this photo :).

Friday, May 14, 2010. Today we met with the doctor and heard the results of the PET scan that I had on Monday. PET scans look for metabolic activity in the body, usually cancer activity. The good news is that my tongue, head, and neck are clear – NO cancer activity in the original site of the tumor or lymph nodes! However, they did find a nodule on my thyroid.
