Standard #9 The teacher of music advocates for the school music program in the community at large. I have included a pamphlet. Aimed at recruiting new members into beginning band in the 5th or 6th grade. Recruting students at a young age helps to develop a sturdy foundation with which the secondary music programs can be built upon. Additionally, having a sturdy budget plan is essential to maintaining a balanced program. I have also included a five-year budget proposal.

Standard #4 The teacher of music has skills in reading and writing music. My first artifact is a. Written for six voices. This piece is an exploration in chromatic counterpoing and late 19th Century sounds. I have also included a score. My next artifact is the program. From my senior voice recital, which included music from a variety of time periods and composers, as well as an original composition. A video of the performance can be found here. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Gsu 1010 posts all of em. December 11, 2008. I chose the American Studies FLC over others because I like history and politics, (more so world history but there was not a world studies FLC). I also do not like math or speech and neither of those courses was in this FLC. Schedule wise I enjoyed the Fridays off and the midday classes with the exception of American lit. Risks and Experimentation teaches us that we are curious beings. Literature creates an idea about history...
