Place of Richard OuYang. 今天大家跟新來的義大利VISITING SCHOLAR一起去了學校的ACKERMAN UNION吃飯，我帶了自己做的便當，有麻婆豆腐、豆豉排骨、清炒豆芽菜。在微波爐加熱的時候，就被說了很香，哈哈，純屬自爽。重點是在吃飯聊天的時候，新來的義大利人跟我說：Richard, you aren't like typical Chinese guy. 我說：Why? Then, what is the type of typical Chinese guy? 他說：Boring -.-' 。我一則以喜一則以憂，喜為還好我還不算BORING（應該吧），憂為咱Chinese Guys有這麼BORING嘛，應該是他室友吧～～ 。Chinese Guys 有被認成這種印象嗎？ Whatever, 以後叫我Modern Chinese Guy好了。 What can I say? Dear Mr. ouyang:. 沒想的真的讓我翻盤成功，雖然收到ADMISSION的時間已經是六月底了，不過，還好開學時間是九月底，讓我還可以有心理準備。目前確定要跟的教授是做RFID、WIRELESS、VISUAL、CAD＼CAM，還真是興趣廣泛勒。不過似乎跟業界關係很好，希望讓我減免第二年的支出吧～～～～～。 七月一號去參加了UCLA台灣同學會主辦的新生說明會，瞭解了一些UCLA的生活，似乎，剛開始會是個唸書念到昏天黑地的日子，還好我本來就抱持著這樣的心態去，至少不會差太多，不過QUATER學制感覺真是恐怖，十個禮拜的QUATER，考完整整一本書：. 第一個禮拜：搞不清楚狀況，先聽聽再說。 第二個禮拜：啥？有作業了。 第三個禮拜：唷，是期中考勒。 第四個禮拜：正常的上課，適應教授的速度。 第五個禮拜：還是正常的上課，適應教授的難度。 第六個禮拜：啥，下禮拜又要期中考了。 第十個禮拜：X，期末考了，結束了第一階段QUATER。 訂閱： 文章 (Atom).

Place of Richard OuYang. 前一天晚上因為法國朋友要回去了，我們為了幫他送行，到了學校旁邊我們最常去的BAR。正要開始吃東西喝BEER的時候，聽說上面有COMEDY SHOW- 很像脫口秀，後來我們就轉移陣地到樓上邊看邊吃。 整場聽下來，也沒有整場啦，後來因為要趕公車先走了，聽懂了60％吧（有沒有這麼多啊）. 65292;雖然有些笑話還不錯，也是很好笑的形容一件事，但是感覺這種笑話聽多了，會被不好的東西耳濡目染，之後的想法會不會也變成這樣的美國化。不過練聽力應該很好。現在的聽力好像還是不太好，應該也是字彙不夠吧，也還沒把耳朵練成美國等級。 我都會說大部分還是挺保守的。不過，看來有點難扭轉了～～. 訂閱： 張貼留言 (Atom).
