More than 700 historical photographs organized around 28 different "sites" and available for viewing in an easy-to-use map interface. The app can detect your current position and jump to the site nearest to you. Images are zoomable to allow you to see the finer details. Overlay historical photographs with the contemporary scene in realtime through the phone camera, allowing you to position the historical image within the landscape and adjust the amount of transparency.

The Digital History at Carleton Workshop. There are many different kinds of projects that fall under the umbrella of DH@CWorks:. 1) Student group projects, often involving collaboration with partners or other classes. 2) Individual student projects, based on student research, such as Honours projects or Masters’ research essays. 3) Faculty-based digital collaborations. 4) Affiliated digital projects, which we support in various ways.
