Warren, Macomb County, Michigan. On June 21, 1845, Peter Gillette sold a piece of property 9 rods (1 rod equals 5.5 yds or 16.5 ft) north and south by 12 rods east and west for the sum of 12 dollars in hand to 18 grantees for the purpose of a burying ground. More land was purchased in 1854, 1863, 1877, 1884, 1885, and 1904.
