We are in the analysis phase of developing a truly South African event similar to RAAM, the Transcontinental Race and Red Bull Trans Siberia. Up until the end of 2012 a Super Randonneur. Was achieved by doing a 200, 300, 400 & 600 km BRM within a rolling 12 month period – it then changed to within a calendar year – and from 2015 onwards SR’s will be awarded for doing same within a rolling 10 month. It can be done in any order. Higher distances can stand in for shorter distances. A 1000km BRM is a standalone event. An event can only be a qualifier for one SR series.
