Learning In Room 20! We are a Grade 3 Classroom in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We have a lot of fun learning together! Friday, October 30, 2015. Today was our school's Halloween celebration! We began the day with a whole school Tabloid in the morning. As a class we travelled from station to station around the school. Then in the afternoon we had our school costume parade in the gym as well as our class party. Our families were very generous so we had a wonderful selection of treats! Taking part in the tabloid.

Learning In Room 20! We are a Grade 3 Classroom in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We have a lot of fun learning together! Friday, March 4, 2016. TWAS Shared Writing Post. We learned something new! Yesterday we learned a new Math strategy to add and subtract double-digit numbers. the strategy is where you take a number sentence like 64-24 and you subtract 20 from the 60, then you take away the 4 from the 4 and your answer is 40. Mr Wilson is a famous writer! He writes mystery novels for children that are set in Canadian cities. He came to talk to us about his life as an author, how he got started, and how we can improve our own writing. He was a lot of fun! Acting out with Mr. Wilson. It can be tough, especially when we are on week 3 of indoor recess. BUT we sure did have some fun this afternoon! We got together with Mr. B's class and we held a 'Holiday Minute to Win It'! It's always tough saying good-bye. This group was pretty special to me. A few of them have been with me for three out of their six years at Heritage! We learned a ton and shared a lot of laughs.
