http://stephiesthoughts.blogspot.com/2005_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 25, 2005. Wives and girlfriends, (even guys, I guess), please tell me if I am wrong to be looking so forward to seeing my parents all weekend long? I mean, I half-assed offered to not go Friday and go with Rico on Saturday. (But he said no, to go as planned since we learned of his meeting.) Go to his dad's then my parent's, but I want to spend as much time with my mom as humanly possible. Shopping, gossiping, shopping in her closet (oh, my favorite! I have decided that if I won't allow mys...

Tuesday, July 26, 2005. I WANT A CIGARETTE! I haven't had one since last night. I was very bad last night. 3 in a row. Not one today. I feel as if I'm losing it. Rico's out of town and I thought it would be easier. He's not here smoking. Then I call him and he says maybe I need a puff. Duh, ya think? But which is more important? A puff or a promise I made to myself? Shit, I'm screwed. Update - Told ya. I had a full cig and I'm going to have 1 more before I go to bed. Hopefully tomorrow I'll suceed. My ol...

Monday, June 28, 2004. Day 288 - The Transfer Of Power. So I must have had some nightmares last night or something that kept my entire body clenched. Gosh I've never woken up sore in the morning when I hadn't done anything to become sore :(. Anyhow, my husband called last night and we were able to talk for over an hour! I hobble to my desk this morning to check my email. I always read my email before I start making my rounds on my favorite blogs and news sites. Within his email he said:. Why allow the te...

Saturday, July 31, 2004. Day 321 - Reconnecting With a Friend. My friend and her two children arrived last Sunday afternoon and stayed until Wednesday morning. The evenings, after we had all the babies asleep, were just like old times. We sat up every night until 2 in the morning talking, laughing and watching TV. I'm very glad that in the end, things settled down and all of us ended up having a nice time. Posted by Shannon at 8:43 AM. Wednesday, July 28, 2004. Day 318 - The Calm After The Storm. I final...

Give a visit - there's something of interest for just about everyone. In an entry titled, Next time I'm going to McDonalds. She gives us a glimpse into some of the experiences not only she has had in Canadian hospitals, but experiences of family and friends too. Posted by Shannon at 9:41 PM. The husband and I ...
