Friday, 2 December 2016. Student Run Craft Activity. The kids loved having one of their classmates be the teacher! Thomas wanted to teach everyone (including Miss Crafar! How to make pop up cards so he researched the instructions, set up the equipment, ran the lesson and helped everyone out if they got stuck. We have a lot of talented kids in Mākaro. Monday, 5 December 2016. The Senior Pod have recently been studying shape geometry in mathematics and as part of their learning, the students have created Geometric City using their knowledge of 2D and 3D shapes. They had to complete three phases:. 1 Studying shapes and earning their building permits. 2 Designing and building. 3 Construction of the city. Students worked really well in groups to achieve their objectives and you can see the fantastic city they created. Monday, 21 November 2016.

Tuesday, 6 December 2016. Yesterday we made healthy sandwiches and yummy berry and banana smoothies - we forgot to take photos because we were so busy! Today we cooked delicious pancakes.
