To say the day was bittersweet is an understatement. I was so happy to be having my baby boy turn one. Just having him be alive for a year and to be thriving and healthy is such an incredible blessing that I do not take for granted. I had David an outfit made with a blonde superhero on it. It was definitely nice to be able to meet remotely: sometimes it's hard to coordinate everyone's schedules, but everyone can find an internet connection rather easily.
