Obviously, a lot changed in two years! The Ziegler family is growing, and Avianna Ziegler is due to arrive in August! Last weekend we went to Baby Preview and got some great 3D shots of our baby girl. Here are some of my favorites! Can't wait to kiss those little cheeks! Above: A good 2D profile shot. She has my chin!

The Ziegler Family: January 2015
http://andrewsabigbrother.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 1, 2015. Oh, the holiday season is here, and as a teacher, I LOVE it. I need the break so badly from constant grading and planning. My own kids need their mommy back, and I need some free time to just do whatever I want to do (like reading, crocheting, painting wine glasses, and writing this blog). I was excited to get my very first Turkey Trot T-shirt. Here I am with my fellow fifth grade teaching partner, Shannon. I had a small part in the Overture of the Nutcracker. My coworker l...

The Ziegler Family: And We're BACK!

Sunday, December 28, 2014. I always felt like someone was missing next to Aveya in this picture. And, so Juliana came to be. And despite the fact that adding a baby to our family has made things a million times more difficult than they were, I wouldn't trade her for all the sleep-in days in the world. Fills the house repeatedly. Look at that little elf's face! I can't imagine life without her in it! Juliana was named after my favorite character in a young adult book called Flipped. This is mostly old new...

The Ziegler Family: July 2011
http://andrewsabigbrother.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 13, 2011. My mom had off on Summer Day Nineteen, and so she and I took the kids shopping. Then, my dad met up with us at Red Robin for lunch. I love that place! We had the coolest big booth! Aveya and I sat on one side. And these three sat on the other! That night, we joined our neighbors Matt, Alecia, and Laela for a drive-in movie! I love summer weather. I don't usually mind the heat.especially if there is the ability to hook up a sprinkler, pool, or slip n slide! Swimming in the pool!

Friday, September 3, 2010. Andrew's First Day of Kindergarten! Well, it's official! Our baby boy is growing up. Today, September 3, 2010, he started kindergarten! Here's Andrew next to HIS tree- the one he helped Ryan plant. Papa Ziegler came over this morning and gave Andrew a lucky coin that his cousin Alex used on HIS first day of kindergarten. Here's praying that Andrew doesn't lose it today! Now we're waiting for our friends to join us on the bus stop. The gang's all here! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Ziegler Family: May 2011

Friday, May 27, 2011. Last year, Ryan's family started a Ziegler Family Cabin Trip on Labor Day Weekend Tradition. Well, Ryan's mom scheduled a trip to China, so we ended up going to the cabin as a family alone. It was a much welcomed break to say goodbye to summer though. On the trails heading to the pond. Andrew befriended a tiny butterfly. He fed it grapes, watched it lovingly, and proceeded to sit more quietly than I've ever seen him. Aveya and I are taking a moment to strike our model pose.

Monday, May 31, 2010. Five Years of Andrew! Well, five years ago today, I became a mommy! I can't believe five years have gone by, and so I decided to take a trip down memory lane- when I really should be in bed sleeping. Enjoy the journey with me. May 31, 2005- Mommy and Andrew are enjoying some quality moments getting to know one another. I took this picture in July 2005 when Andrew was two months old. I knew from this picture that he was going to be a smarty. He just LOOKS smart, doesn't he? Love Inte...

Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Why There Has Been No Blog Lately. My husband uttered the words, "Michelle, I know you're busy, but you haven't had a blog update in a month." I figured that was my cue to get another posting up pronto. And when I discovered that I left my gradebook at school, I figured I might as well use my time tonight to blog. Here is why I've been so busy! Dr Patrick Jost graced us with his presence two weekends ago! I will be resuming my usual routine of dressing her myself.
