Last Sunday I picked up Dave and drove to Sevenoaks Nature Reserve at around 7.30am, the weather was rather dismal but as we climbed higher towards Sevenoaks the cloud lifted and a glorious blue sky was in our view, lovely jubbly. We was there for about 1 and a half hours approx and the list is as follows:. Baby Pigeon (SQUAB) I believe they are called. Fox just off centre right looking for its brekkie.

Mandy and I left at about 9.45 this morning and drove down to Dungeness for a spot of birding action, the sun was bright and warm although a light breeze was chilly. We walked around the whole reserve in just over 2 hours and had a definate 24 species, this is excluding Gulls, they are a nightmare to me. Our list of definates is below:. I picked up Andy and we took a drive to Sevenoaks Nature Reserve for a spot of birding, we spent about an hour and 45 mins there, walking around to all the hides, people were saying that the Bittern was still in residence along with a Goosander, we saw neither I'm afraid to say, although we did have 32 species!
